What does Thermage FLX do?

Thermage delivers controlled radiofrequency heating to support collagen remodeling. It is an option to discuss for skin laxity and the appearance of wrinkles.

The consultation starts with the concern you want to address. Skin laxity, facial volume and surface texture can call for different approaches; ask what a proposed treatment is intended to change.

Contact our Arcadia clinic near Pasadena or our Los Altos clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area. Confirm treatment availability at your preferred office when booking.

Which areas can be assessed?

Bring your main concerns, previous treatment history and questions about cost to your consultation. Ask which options fit your goals, what the proposed course includes and when your progress would be reviewed.

The manufacturer describes applications for the face, eye area and body. The appropriate treatment area and tip need to be confirmed by your practitioner.

  • Facial skin laxity
  • Wrinkles around the eyes
  • Body skin concerns

What does treatment feel like?

The applicator delivers radiofrequency energy through the skin surface. Cooling and vibration are used during treatment.

You may feel heat or discomfort. Tell your practitioner how the treatment feels so they can respond; a comfortable experience cannot be guaranteed.

Planning your consultation at V Line

Tell the team which area concerns you and whether you have already tried another treatment. Ask about the practitioner, the treatment plan and follow-up before booking a procedure.

For another approach to skin laxity, read about Ultherapy ultrasound treatment. Your consultation can help clarify which approach, if any, suits your goals.

When might Thermage results appear?

The manufacturer describes gradual improvement over two to six months, with duration varying by the individual. A particular result or maintenance schedule cannot be promised. Agree on a review point with your practitioner rather than judging the outcome immediately after treatment.
