EmFace combines radiofrequency energy with facial muscle stimulation. Learn about the treatment experience, suitability and questions to ask before choosing a course at V Line Cosmetic.
What is EmFace?
EmFace uses synchronized radiofrequency and HIFES muscle stimulation. Radiofrequency heats tissue, while HIFES stimulates muscle activity; the treatment is intended to improve facial appearance without injections.
It addresses different concerns from BOTOX or dermal fillers. Ask your practitioner to explain the purpose of each option in relation to your goals.
What should I discuss before treatment?
A useful consultation connects your concerns with a realistic plan. Discuss:
- The specific facial area you want assessed
- Previous injectables, energy treatments or surgery
- The recommended course, total cost and follow-up
- The expected benefit, limitations and possible side effects
What does an EmFace session feel like?
BTL describes warming and muscle contractions during treatment. Its standard guidance describes four 20-minute sessions, usually a week apart; your practitioner must confirm the plan appropriate for you. Report pain or an unpleasant burning sensation immediately.
EmFace Recovery and Aftercare
The manufacturer describes a usual prompt return to daily activities. This does not mean there is no risk: skin injury, including blistering or burns, is possible. Follow the activity and skincare advice given for your treatment.
Who Is a Good Candidate for EmFace Treatment?
Ask for an individual suitability assessment. Discuss your health history, pregnancy or nursing, recent procedures, and electronic or metal implants before treatment.
Before committing to a course, ask:
- Who will perform the treatment?
- Which applicators and areas are proposed?
- What risks or reasons to avoid treatment apply to me?
- When should I return to assess progress?
