Botox and Dysport are produced by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. However, the ingredients are processed differently in the laboratory, so the effects vary slightly. To determine the correct product for you, a V Line practitioner will ask some questions regarding previous experiences with Botox/Dysport, areas to be treated, allergies to food or medications, and requested results. Likewise, downtime will vary by patient.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM BOTOX? WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM DYSPORT?
The effects of treatment vary according to the treatment area. The smaller facial muscles will often show results within a few days. Larger muscles take more time to show the results, between 2 to 3 weeks.
Factors including lifestyle, genetics, sun exposure, and metabolism will affect the longevity of the treatment in some individuals. Most clients will come in for re-treatment between 4 to 6 months. However, the suggestion is to wait at least 3 months before re-treating the
same area.
